Perpetual Motion Summary ´ 102 Ritz may be helping Germany prepare to defeat England in the Great War and what is worse that she is falling in love with hi. I wasn t super thrilled with this book and I can t put my finger on why I didn t really like it I think it was partially the lack of believable characters Even the main character Sybil or perhaps I should say primarily the main character Sybil was not that interesting to read She seemed to be too old for her age she took to the idea of time travel and time traveling parents much too easily and seemed unusually adept at things that she probably shouldn t have been The plot too was not that fantastic Even though stuff was happening I kept waiting for the plot to pick up And then the conclusion didn t seem to really conclude anything Perhaps there is another book to follow this one Even if there is I m not sure I would read it because this one just didn t do it for me

Perpetual Motion Summary ´ 102 With the Great War hanging in the balance the love of a doomed inventor tempts a time traveler's daughter to forsake everyth. As I read this I thought its rating would settle to two or three stars based on the ending Only there wasn t an ending More of a to be continued At less than 200 pages the book could have been twice as long if it would have brought the story closer to a logical conclusion The writing style is juvenile Not just that the story seems aimed for younger readers but the plot dialogue and character development seems like the product of a high school creative writing course view spoilerTime travelers from the forty first century retreat to the nineteenth century to assure that World War One goes off as it did Their daughter born in the nineteenth century inherits not only their good health but also their ability to speak any language They say they re Christians but aside from an occasional Bible uote nothing in their behavior betrays those beliefs And that business about keeping World War One on track That s so the Second Coming can go off as scheduled two thousand years hence Right about now you may be thinking Huh Yeah me too hide spoiler Vania view spoilerTime travelers from the forty first century retreat to the nineteenth century to assure that World War One goes off as it did Their daughter born in the nineteenth century inherits not only their good health but also their ability to speak any language They say they re Christians but aside from an occasional Bible uote nothing in their behavior betrays those beliefs And that business about keeping World War One on track That s so the Second Coming can go off as scheduled two thousand years hence Right about now you may be thinking Huh Yeah me too hide spoiler
